Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

For the last two years, Todd and I have gone on spring break to Disney World. It is always a magical time, but the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival makes it extra special. Two years ago when we went on our Disney World Vacation, we had no idea that this festival was going on. Now it has been something we look forward to every year, and it makes us even more excited to explore the other festivals that Epcot has to offer!

From the moment you walk into the park, you get to see your favorite characters come to life in an array of different floral arrangements.

As you walk around the World Showcase, you find yourself coming across amazing creations. Each corresponds to the theme of the country you’re in at the park, or the characters that “originate” from that area. From princesses to the beloved Lion King gang, you’re sure to find yourself stopping in awe to take in the vibrant colors of the different flowers and the precision that has gone into every shrubbery sculpture.

Despite the amazing artwork done with the gardens of Epcot during this festival, two things make it even more magical: the food and the souvenirs. Every Disney festival has its own theme and therefore its own merchandise. During the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, the merchandise is of course themed after flowers and gardens, and everything is absolutely adorable. Todd and I have stocked up on the souvenirs both years, as each year there is a unique twist to the items for sale. We also enjoyed foods from exclusive stands that were only there for the festival, such as these flower-shaped crab rangoons from the China pavilion!

Aside from these elements, there is also a butterfly tent that you can enter in small groups and several special stations throughout the park where you can purchase plants and seeds of your own! I would highly recommend this festival to anyone and everyone. It is absolutely beautiful and truly makes the trip all the more amazing.
