My Magazine Subscriptions

Inspiration can be found anywhere, and I love having both the visuals and the worded descriptions that magazines offer. I can either sit there and casually flip through each page and glance at the pictures, or I can dive into a super intense or interesting article. I have found that my top three favorite magazines are Country Living, HGTV, and The Food Network. These three magazines cover all of my favorite topics, and I am constantly finding relatable and exciting content in every edition.

HGTV Magazine

This magazine is obviously based off of the popular television network, and features several of their TV personalities. From clips of the fan-favorite house hunting shows to the inside scoop on the stars that make the on-screen homes look as beautiful as they do, this magazine has a little bit of something for everyone.

One of my favorite sections in this magazine is “The High/Low List”. This section shows affordable substitutes for high-end products, and also lists the prices of each item and where they are available for purchase. I think that this is a great idea for someone who loves a certain style, but needs a lower price point. And no one needs to know how much you spent on your decor anyway, right?

Country Living Magazine

Country Living magazine is exactly what it sounds like: a magazine all about that “in the middle of nowhere” lifestyle. It brings inspiration of rustic and farmhouse elements with their pictures of decorated rooms. They also include related topics such as camping and clothing, as well as advertisements for some very unique and adventurous opportunities.

My personal favorite part of this magazine actually has nothing to do with the adorable decor ideas. Instead, I truly enjoy the recipes that are offered in the back of each edition. All of the recipes are themed together to complete one or two multi-course meals for either a single family or for entertaining. They are seasonally relevant and range from being more on the simple side to more extravagant. From lobster rolls to watermelon salads, there’s something for every palate.

The Food Network Magazine

I love food and I love to cook, and this magazine is full of tips, tricks, and recipes to do just that! The pros from the popular television network share their stories and their advice for making the most of your time in the kitchen. I have found so many amazing recipes and have learned so much about cooking techniques from reading this magazine that it deserved a proper shout out. Whether you’re an aspiring chef or an “I can only make spaghetti” kind of person, this magazine can definitely inspire you to try something new while giving you the comfort of being walked through the cooking process step-by-step.
